Note: This is a general template. If you deploy region-specific analytics/consent tooling (EU/UK/Quebec), update this policy accordingly.

1) What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and device identifiers. These help websites function, remember preferences, and understand usage.

2) Categories of cookies and storage

Noetfield aims to keep tracking minimal. Depending on the pages you use, we may use:

Category Purpose Examples How to control
Essential Required for core site functionality and security. Navigation, basic routing, form flow integrity, anti-abuse measures (if enabled). Blocking may break site features.
Preferences Remember choices to improve experience. UI state, navigation state, language preferences (if used). Clear site data in your browser.
Operational / Intake tracking Support reliable form workflows and request tracking. Request ID (RID) stored in local storage to keep support flows consistent. Clear site data or local storage.
Analytics (optional) Understand aggregate usage to improve the site. If enabled later: page views, referrers, basic events (privacy-preserving configuration preferred). Use browser blocking tools; disable via consent banner if deployed.

3) RID & local storage

Some Noetfield pages generate a Request ID (RID) to route and track submissions (e.g., Gate/Partner intakes). The RID may be stored locally (localStorage) so you can continue a flow across pages and open Status links with the same ID.

What we store: typically a short RID string and minimal routing markers (e.g., track/lane).
What we do not store: passwords, payment credentials, or confidential client documents.

4) How to control cookies

You can manage cookies and related storage in several ways:

  • Browser controls: block or delete cookies via your browser settings.
  • Clear site data: remove stored data for noetfield.com (cookies + storage).
  • Private browsing: reduces persistence (varies by browser).
  • Content blockers: may block third-party scripts and trackers.

If you disable essential storage, some workflows (forms, Status links, navigation state) may not function correctly.

5) Third-party services

Some pages may submit forms to third-party processors (e.g., Formspree) or embed external resources. These providers may set their own cookies or collect technical telemetry according to their policies.

Review the relevant provider terms when you use those flows. For Noetfield’s own handling of personal information, see Privacy.
